Look forward to an intimate performance of UK group, Swing Out Sister, at Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival 2009! UK duo Swing Out Sister are best known worldwide for the breakout song, "Breakout". In late 1986, when the single was released, it reached the number four position on the UK charts, and number six in the United States. A mix of jazz, electropop, a blend of real horns, synths, drums, xylophones, the duo's debut album was titled "It's Better to Travel". The duo's next single "Twilight World" was equally favored; it was remixed and became dance club favorite globally. A Grammy-Award nominee, Swing Out Sister comprise of Corinne Drewery and Andy Cornell. In 1989, the duo released another critically-acclaimed album "Kaleidoscope World". In 1992, the duo's retro feel was enhanced with the release of album "Get In Touch With Yourself". Two years later, "The Living Return" was launched.
